Bryce Dallas Howard is brave, said he’s losing weight for ‘Jurassic World’ – SheKnows

Bryce Dallas Howardnext to her Jurassic World: Dominion Co-star Dewanda Wise sat down with UK metro earlier this week to chat about the extended release of their movie. The conversation took an unexpected turn when Howard admitted that her body had been a major topic of discussion by the anonymous executives.

Howard, who did all her stunts in the third installment of jurassic world The series was asked what she hoped her role as female acting in action films would mean, and she replied:

“What is allowed in this third movie, how do I say this? How do I say this? How do I say this? Howard replied: I was asked not to use my normal body in the cinema.” In the third movie, it was actually because there were several women who were Their acting, it was something like Colin [Trevorrow, the director] I felt so strongly about my protection because the conversation popped up again, “We need to ask Bryce to lose weight.”

Howard noted during the interview that most of her stunts would have been impossible to do if she had been on a diet, and credits her manager, Trevorrow, with turning down such demands.

The actress also emphasized that the film normalized its female-led action scenes depicting women of all body types. The film also had more women than the men, something Howard was particularly proud of.

“So I am very happy [at] “Everything I had to do, and I had to do it with my body, she was at its fullest,” she said. “And I hope this is just another indication of what’s possible.”

The jurassic world The franchise franchise has been an uphill battle for Howard from the start, when it was reported that she was charging less than co-star Chris Pratt.

Reports emerged in 2018 that she was making $8 million for Pratt’s $10 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but Howard said from the inside Last month she was paid “much less”.

“The reporting was a lot of fun because I was paid a lot less than what was reported, and a lot less,” Howard said in the interview. “When I started negotiating Jurassic, it was in 2014 and it was a different world, and I was at a very disadvantage. Unfortunately, you have to sign up for three films until your deals are decided.”

Howard continued, “What I’m going to say is that Chris and I discussed it, and whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on things that weren’t already negotiated, like a game or a trip, he literally said to me, ‘You guys don’t even have to do anything.'” I will do all the negotiations. We’ll get paid the same and you won’t have to think about that, Bryce.”

With Part Three filming and completing, Howard and her co-star Wise are thrilled to see the final film featuring Imperfect Heroines. “I am interested in the future of work and films that really allow women to be fully human beings as we are,” Wise said.

But despite the film’s cast, Wise still insists there is still a way to go for women in Hollywood when all people want to talk about what a woman looks like.

“It’s always a thing,” she said. “There has been a lot of resistance to Kayla having muscle, to what it means to be a woman, and to looking like a woman. It’s just every aspect, it’s impossible and relentless.”

“There are a lot of us! In fact, we are half the population,” Howard chimes in. And in this movie, there were more women than men. These are numbers and scenarios [that are] At this point it’s still uncommon, just normalizing it.”
