This was the first real bird practice this week after the procedure Walk around on Tuesday.

Two players did not participate: Brandon Graham and Avonte Maddox.

Graham was listed as a DNP due to illness on a day that would have been restricted due to partial rest anyway. The jovial veteran watched training from the sidelines and appeared to be in his usual good spirits. One would think that he would be back at work tomorrow.

Maddox is on course to drop his third straight game in the past four weeks after suffering an injury in Dallas. The Eagles will likely go with CJ Gardner-Johnson as their starting cornerback with Reed Blankenship arriving to play safety in the nickel packs.

Two players included in the limited entry for more than just convenience: Lyn Johnson and Robert Quinn.

Johnson is playing through a groin injury that will require surgery once the Eagles season is over. The good news is that it seems to work pretty well? All things considered, at least:

Lin said previously that today was an important day for him in terms of seeing how effective he can be while playing through the pain. Being on the extra rest list – as opposed to just ‘groin’ – is a positive sign that he’s going to play. But it remains to be seen how long it will be able to hold up during real game action.

The inclusion of Quinn with an additional rest designation – as opposed to just “back” – is also a positive sign for his playing opportunities. He’s believed to be part of the defensive end rotation Saturday night. There is no better time for him to step up after a quiet regular season.

One player is listed as full: Linval Joseph.

Joseph has been upgraded to full after being listed as limited on Tuesday. The veteran defensive tackle was set to play against the team of his choice with a second-round pick all the way back in 2010 NFL Draft.

The Eagles will release their third and final injury report on Thursday afternoon.

New York Giants injury report (Wednesday)

Starting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson has been upgraded to full after he was tied up on Tuesday.

Spinning safety DNP’s Jason Pinnock has been upgraded to the full level. He told Giants media hYou will need to play with extra padding.

Here’s what foes at Big Blue View had to say about the New York defender with the second-most sacks on this year’s team:

Edge defender Aziz Ogullari, who suffered a quadriceps injury, told the media that he was “hurt” but planned to play. How far he can play, and how effective he is, remains to be seen.

Seems like it will work at less than 100%.

The expectation here is that all of the Giants’ limited-time players will be playing Saturday night.
