New York Giants wide receiver Kenny Goladay admitted Wednesday that he disagrees with the team’s decision to use him for only two shots on Sunday against the team. Carolina Panthers.

“We’re not going to get into all of that now,” he said. “We are going into week 3. We will see how it goes. There is a lot of football left.”

Is the New York Giants Championship 2022 real? Unbelievable numbers | Big Blue View

How did the giants get here? Is it sustainable? Pro Football Focus’s Kevin Cole doesn’t think so, although he admits it with the Cowboys and Cowboys Chicago Bears On board, 4-0 is not out of the question.

Since Cole lives in the world of PFF, his opinions are based on numbers trying to capture the Giants’ performance in meaningful ways to win and lose. Some fans aren’t keen on thinking about their team in these ways, sharing Mark Twain’s famous phrase that there are “lies, damn lies, and stats.” But let’s take a look at some stats, anyway – not to bury them, not to praise them. Instead, let’s just assume that each statistic tells us something useful about the team and the players in it and try to figure out what that is.

PRESSURE POINTS: Coach Daboll MNF vs. Cowboys | Giants.com

Head coach Brian Dabol was asked about Cowboys’ Micah Parsons, who has 17 sacks in his first 18 games and needs three more in his next two games to become the fastest player to reach 20.

He’s a problem. He’s a dynamic footballer. He can play several positions. He does. You’ll see him at full-back. You’ll see him at the defensive end. He has a rare passing ability. We have to have a good plan for him. It’s fun to watch when you’re not ready to play him. He has that compliment. He does impressive things on the football field.”

$5: The stage isn’t too big for Cooper Rush | DallasCowboys.com

It’s hard to find reserve backers with the confidence and skills to play as well as a long-range sub-team, but the Cowboys may have found their fifth-year pro rhino.

For the second year in a row, Rush interfered with Dak Prescott and led the team to victory over a good opponent. The veteran not only completed 19 of 31 passes for 231 yards with a score, but he hooked up five different receivers and avoided relying solely on CeeDee Lamb to anchor the passing game.
