Iron Man announces a new event on Long Island

The first ever IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon in New York – Jones Beach is scheduled to take place on September 23, 2023. The athletes will embark on a journey where they will embark through some of the most beautiful areas of Long Island such as the Jones Beach Playhouse, the famous Jones Beach Boardwalk, and Nassau County Produced by State Parkway. Ironman 70.3 New York – Jones Beach will treat athletes to a 1.2-mile swim in Zack’s Bay at Jones Beach State Park, a 56-mile scenic bike ride along the Wantage State Parkway, and culminating with a 13.1-mile run along the world-famous route. The Jones Beach Boardwalk that runs along the coast with a unique finish line experience on the beach itself.
