It’s week six of the fantasy basketball season and one player who seems to have slipped too far in almost every major league draft is Gilgos Alexander Tea Early MVP candidate.
So where would SGA be chosen if our experts could do and shape things today?
Here are Andre Snellings, Eric Moody, Eric Karabelle, Jim McCormick and John Cregan for clarification.
It must be the first round! Gilgeous-Alexander just keeps getting better, and while I doubt anyone expects them to average more than 30 PPG, it all seems legit. He is in the top 5 for field kicks per game, in part because of this Josh Gede He is the only other member of the Thunder to assert himself enough to be among the top 65 in the league in attempts. Will this change? it does not seem so. The SGA can shoot as much as it wants, and it offers more steals, blocks, and shooting efficiency than ever before. This is clearly the NBA’s top 10 fantasy option. – Karabelle
The Rater player Not infallible, but a fair representation of the statistical value and balance that each major category is weighted against a particular topical pool. Shay is currently ranked third in this value index, and if I had to guess he will end up in the top eight by the end of the season, which is where we can expect a certain level of slope for his amazing defensive stats. But there’s clearly a way to use Unrestricted in a team that seems more comfortable trying to win games than in years past. All that said, I’ll take Gilgeous-Alexander at the end of the first round, ahead of the likes I’m MorantAnd the Tra YoungAnd the James HardenAnd the Damien Lillard And so on. – McCormick
I was drafting Gilgeous-Alexander in the top ten. He averaged 31.1 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 6.0 APG, 1.8 SPG and 1.8 SPG. That’s 55.3 points per game for fantasy managers in the Points League. Managers wonder if they should maximize the value of the Gilgeous-Alexander trade given his extraordinarily high statistical output and injury history. I was listening to performances. – Moody
Want to draft a hypothetical one-week match that will be played next week, with total matches played equal? I will draft SGA #2 overall regardless of format (however, my #1 overall pick will change). Luka DoncicAlexander and Gilgos Stephen Curry in the upper layer. But in terms of being drafted for the rest of the season? I’d be hard pressed to draft an SGA higher than eighth overall. Because it’s OKC…and because Victor Wimbanyama is good. Their penchant for building a menu in the deep sea is something you’d have to assume would repeat itself until it doesn’t. – Kerrigan
If I were signing today, I would have met Gilgeous-Alexander at the back half of the first round. I still put Luca, Nikola JokicAnd the Jason TatumAnd the Giannis Antikonmo And the Therese Halliburton in front of him. Other than that, it’s fair game. I’m still concerned about availability over the season; He missed 26 games last season after missing 37 games the previous season. Plus, the Thunder are heavily invested in the Victor Wimpanyama lottery, and they shouldn’t be winning much this season. With that said, the SGA produces video game numbers every night at the moment and has secured a spot in the first round of drafting this season. – snoring
