PFT NFL Divisional Round Picks

We started the Super Wild Card round in not-so-super-good fashion, going 4-2 apiece. This week, there are four games to be played, and choosing the winners couldn’t be easier.

The Divisional Round selections appear below. As you’ll see, MDS has picked two underdogs to cover. I picked one to cover and one to win.

No matter the game, the games this weekend should be great.

Jaguars (+8.5) in Chiefs

take MDS: The Jaguars actually entered the divisional round in Doug Pederson’s freshman year and sophomore year Trevor Lawrence It’s a great sign of where this team is headed. But they have not yet reached the level of Andy Reid’s team Patrick Mahomes We have it in Kansas City. This is where the Jaguars’ great season ends.

MDS selectionPresidents: 30, Jaguar: 20.

Take Florio: Bosses angry alert. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Jaguars win the game. It is loose. They have nothing to lose. The Chiefs may be glancing at the Jaguars as a Bills replay looms. But, in the end, I have faith that Patrick Mahomes will find a way forward. Even if it is not as easy as people think.

Choose FlorioChiefs: 30, Jaguars 27.

Giants (+7.5) at Eagles

take MDS: Brian Dabul has done an incredible job Daniel Jones So much so that he could make a playoff run like last week’s game against the Vikings. This week against a much better defense than the Eagles, I find it hard to believe Jones could do it again. Jalen Hurts He’ll put a lot of points on the board for Philadelphia, and Jones and the Giants won’t be able to keep up.

MDS selectionEagles 31, Giants 17.

Take FlorioIt happened in 2008, when the Eagles beat the top-ranked Giants. It happened in 2007, when the Giants beat the highly ranked Cowboys. And it could happen again, with a revenge on the Giants, 15 years later. Giants are gaining momentum, and they are getting better in time. The Eagles have been wobbly these past few weeks. Daniel Jones W Dexter Lawrence They became stars before our eyes. I will be Barkley He works harder than ever. Isaiah Hodgins He’s a man who’s up against defenses and refuses to take it seriously. Brian Dabul outlasted coach Kevin O’Connell last week, and he may be ready to take on Nick Siriani. It won’t be easy, but nothing was easy for the Giants this year. Expect a classic Saturday night game that the Giants can actually win.

Choose FlorioGiants 24, Eagles 23.

Bengals (+5.5) at Bills

take MDS: The Bengals and Bills both struggled to get over opponents a lot last weekend, but I’m expecting a good game between them on Sunday. Josh Allen will make a bigger play than Joe Burrow In the fourth quarter, that will be the difference.

MDS selection: Bills 24, Bengals 20.

Take Florio: Bengal is salty about many things. And that could be enough to fuel a second annual divisional road win. But the Bills will get a huge boost from their pre-game appearances Hamlin devastation (If that happens), and quarterback Josh Allen will return to the AFC Championship Game. It would be helpful if there was someone other than the recipient Stephen Diggs He also advances.

Choose Florio: Bills 31, Bengals 24.

Cowboy (+4) at age 49

take MDS: After watching the Cowboys dominate the Buccaneers on Monday night, I tend to get upset here. But I think so Brooke Purdy He’ll do just enough to keep the 49ers’ offense moving forward, and the 49ers’ defense will power up Duck Prescott In a few turnovers to win a low-scoring game.

MDS selection: 49ers 17, Cowboys 16.

Take Florio: The 49ers have a bunch of bad guys who can roll out of bed and run through a brick wall. And even though it’s been downplayed by head coach Kyle Shanahan, he knows that having two extra days makes a big difference, especially with Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn interviewing for the Broncos job when he should have been preparing to break Shanahan’s code, not owning up. The private code is cracked.

Choose Florio: 49ers 24, Cowboys 17.
