The South Jersey Baseball Hall of Fame to induct seven new members

The South Jersey Baseball Hall of Fame will induct seven new members to the 62nd Anniversary Dinner for the South Jersey Hot Stuffers Baseball Club, including a pair of former major leaguers.

Heading this year’s class are two-time All-Star and 2009 American League Rookie of the Year Andrew Bailey (2002 Paul VI alumnus) and 2007 Lower Cape May alumnus Matt Szczur, who spent parts of five seasons in the seniors.

The other inductees are David R. Miller (Highland), Dan Olson (Lower Cape May), George West (Buena), Steve Worrell (Lower Cape May) and John Yorko (Gloucester Catholics).

The event will take place at Adelphia Restaurant on November 26th at 1:30pm. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling Joe Smith at (609) 513-8382.
